A small group went-a-caroling at the Streets of Tanasbourne one chilly winter evening in December. No one knew exactly what they were going to see. We knew we were part of the lighting of the tree ceremony.
We noticed right away that the crowd was huge. Must’ve been around 500-600 people. Children and their parents waiting for the lighting ceremony to begin.
We kicked it off with a few carols. We sang a few, and then we heard the whispers, “Santa’s coming.”
That’s when it began.
Santa paraded in, went up to the tree, and the tree was lit. Thunderous applause.
The speakers then kicked in (which we were standing right next to), and they played a medley of rocking Christmas songs including stuff from the Trans Siberian Orchestra.
Then a laser light show accompanied by the music!
Then Bubbles!
Then… SNOW! Actually it was a soapy residue, but the effect was still pretty cool.
After it was all said and done, we got on stage and caroled for a couple hours.
Another fun night in Beati land!
